protection. The average service experience of the department’s officers exceeds 15 years.
Through a mutual aide agreement the department receives the support of the Morgan County
Sheriff’s department whose office is located in downtown McConnelsville.
In additional, the Ohio State Highway Patrol regularly polices the four state highways (37, 60,
78, and 376) that enter the village’s corporation limits.
